Sometimes that requires facing uncomfortable truths about how negative your personal self-talk can get. You can’t change it if you can’t admit it needs changing. Sometimes that requires admitting the places you don’t like yourself, or you don’t like what you say or do – the first step in real change is admitting that you want to change things in your life. You may have to face truths you’ve avoided because it’s a lot easier to deal with day to day life without contemplation – especially when you’re pretty sure it can’t get any better. After all, you’ve tried before and nothing worked long term.
